Do I need to pay anything upfront?
No. We operate a no upfront costs policy. Payment terms will be clearly outlined in your quote.
How much does a typical extension cost?
Extensions typically range from £16,000 to £250,000, with most projects averaging between £30,000 and £60,000. The exact cost depends on size, specifications, and any extras you choose.
How quickly can I get a quote?
We offer a fast, 24-hour quick quote service to help you plan your project efficiently.
What's included in your pricing?
Our pricing includes waste disposal, site cleanup, and all standard construction elements. Extras such as bi-fold doors, kitchen fitting, additional electrical fittings, premium tiling, painting, and decorating are quoted separately.
How much does a garage conversion cost?
Garage conversions range from £6,000 to £30,000, with an average cost of around £12,000 plus VAT.
How much does a loft conversion cost?
Loft conversions typically range from £25,000 to £90,000, with an average cost of around £50,000 plus VAT.
Project Timeline
How long does a typical project take?
A standard loft conversion or extension takes approximately 12 weeks from initial consultation to completion. However, if planning permission is required, this adds 12-14 weeks to the timeline before construction begins.
How far in advance are you booked?
Projects are typically booked around 3 months in advance, though smaller jobs may be scheduled sooner.
When is the best time of year to start a project?
We work year-round, but demand peaks between April and July, slows in August, and picks up again in September ahead of the Christmas period.
Planning & Regulations
Will I need planning permission?
Approximately 50% of our projects require planning permission, while the rest fall under permitted development rights. We'll advise you on what's required for your specific project and manage the entire process for you.
Do you handle building regulations?
Yes, we manage all building regulations requirements. We're an approved contractor for Basildon Council Building Control.

What guarantee do you offer?
All projects come with a standard 5-year guarantee covering structural elements. We also offer optional insurance-backed guarantees of up to 12 years for additional peace of mind.
Are you accredited?
Yes, we're members of the Federation of Master Builders and verified on Checkatrade. We're also an approved contractor for Basildon Council Building Control.
The Building Process
Who will manage my project?
You'll have a dedicated project manager assigned to your build, along with multiple points of contact throughout the process to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Do you provide design services?
Yes, we use a CAD system to create planning and building regulation drawings, as well as 3D visuals to help you visualise your finished project.
What if structural issues are discovered during the build?
If we identify any structural issues, we immediately notify the relevant professionals (such as a structural engineer), obtain the correct information, and discuss the solution with you before proceeding.
How do you ensure site safety?
Our project managers conduct regular site inspections, enforce PPE requirements, and create CDM (Construction Design and Management) action plans for every project.
What about waste and site cleanup?
All waste disposal and site cleanup are included in our base pricing. You won't face any hidden costs for keeping your property tidy during and after the build.
