Stages of building an extension
1. Site set up
2. Drainage
3. Form new foundations & Oversite.
4. Build brickwork / timber framed walls. 
5. Scaffolding.
6. Floor construction.
7. Construct new roof.
8. Fascia’s, soffits and guttering.
9. Create knock through (if required) 
10. Install steels beams and lintels (if required)
11. Install new windows and doors.
12. Form internal stud work walls. (if required)
13. Install 1st fix electrics & plumbing.
14. Insulation and plaster boarding. 
15. Plaster walls and ceilings.
16. install 2nd fix electrics &plumbing. 
17. Install internal doors, skirting, architrave, window boards. 
18. Fit out kitchen / bathroom etc. (if required)
19. Decorate new walls, ceilings and woodwork.
20. Clear site on completion. 
21. Supply all related certificates.

Follow Our Simple step process when carrying out an extension:

  • 1. Site Visit.

    We will book you in for a site visit, to discuss your ideas and requirements, 

    We offer you current and accurate advice of what to consider when building your extension, completly free of charge. We will then send you a detailed quotation.  

  • 2. Build.

    We pride ourselves on being able to deliver all projects on time within budget. 



    A Site Forman will be responsible for the whole build of your extension, from the start of the build right through to the completion. 



    This will be the person you can liaise with on a daily basis and will coordinate the various trades and suppliers needed to build your extension. 



    We also have Offices in Basildon, so you always have a point of contact over the phone or by email. 



    During your build, our Project Manager will visit you on a daily/weekly basis. They will ensure that work is progressing in accordance with the work schedule and address any concerns or questions which you may have.



    The Building Control Inspector will also be attending the site once each stage is complete. They will ensure that all aspects of the work are being carried out in accordance with Building Control Regulations.
